Stuff To Do

There are tons of things to do around the Ozarks!  From hiking to boating to caving, we have it all.  To start you off in the right direction, you can head over to Arkansas.com for an overview of the great places in our state!

Here's a breakdown of some fun activities you can do in areas close to Norfork!

Mountain Home - 20 minutes away

  • Mountain Home is called the "Twin Lakes Area" for a pretty good reason.  There are two lakes to either side of the town - Norfork and Bull Shoals Lakes.  People come from all over the country to fish, boat, and scuba dive the lakes.  For more information on the lakes, visit their websites: Norfork Lake, Bull Shoals Lake

  • The farmer's market in Mountain Home always has a huge turnout and is open every Wednesday and Saturday at 6a.m.

  • For those with young kids (or those young at heart!) The Zone is a family fun center with arcade games, mini golf, and go-karts.  It is located on Hwy 62 about 5 minutes west of Mountain Home

Norfork

  • Norfork Lake is just minutes from Two Rivers.  We would be glad to point you in the right direction to many full-service marinas!

  • The Norfork National Fish Hatchery is always a fun place to visit.  There, you can see how a hatchery works and how the fish grow throughout their life.

Mountain View - 50 minutes away

  • In the middle of the Ozark Forest is Mountain View, a nice little town with plenty of history and outdoor activities.  Here, you can learn more about Mountain View and the festivals it offers.  The most famous is probably the bean festival with the outhouse races!

  • Blanchard Springs Caverns is a beautiful cave system that is for anyone to enjoy.  Outside of the cave is a natural spring where people love to swim in the summer.  There are also hiking trails and horseback riding trails around the area.

  • The Ozark Folk Center is where history comes alive.  You can see how people lived in the past and learn about the history of the Ozarks.

  • Loco Ropes is a ropes course right next to the Folk Center.  It challenges even the most avid athletes!  There is fun for the whole family from zip lines to rock walls.

Branson, Missouri - 1h 45 minutes away

  • Branson, MO is a town full of wonder and fun.  There is an amusement park, a water park, Tablerock Lake, and tons of shopping and shows!  Branson has something for everyone, and doesn't dissapoint.
